Dear Robin,

I wanted to let you know how pleased we are that Ryan joined your school early last year. He absolutely loves to go to school and the friends that he has there, as well as the time he has playing outside, reading and practicing his letters. We only wish you would have room for our older one when we joined your family, since our experience at another school fell quite short of our expectations.

My husband (United pilot) and I (Genentech-marketing) are constantly amazed at what he learns every day, from the piece of wheat that he brought home for the letter ‘W’ to his writing tablet that has shown progress in his writing ability. He competes with his older brother currently in kindergarten just around the corner from your school and I have to say that he is already prepared for the basics that he will encounter there as soon as this fall. He knows all of the letters, numbers, counting and even trying to read, as well as addition and subtraction. Many times he knows the answer when his brother doesn’t! He could write his name at 3 years old and has a vocabulary that continues to amaze us. Overall, your methods of teaching are tailored to his needs and are yet fun. Why else would he be so happy to go to school every day? He is bummed when he cannot go on Fridays because you are closed!

In all, we feel so fortunate that he has such a good experience with Robin’s Nest and the way that you teach the children in a fun way that makes them look forward to the next day. You also take pride in making sure that each child’s specific needs are met (such as his food allergies) and teaching respect/values to each. Thank you!

Please let us know if we can ever be an advocate for your school, as we both feel that Ryan has excelled both socially and academically as a result of your teachings.
